Yellow Announces Change of Operations

Yellow has filed the expected massive change of operations documents to consolidate Holland and New Penn into Yellow across the Midwest, East and South, including freight terminals in Local 71.

Yellow Announces Expansion of Apprenticeship Program

At the White House, Yellow Corporation announced plans to expand its Registered Apprenticeship program to include new training initiatives for dockworkers and diesel mechanics. Nationwide and across industries, there is significant demand for these jobs, which are essential in delivering freight and sustaining U.S. supply chains.  

Second Annual Charlotte-Metrolina Labor Picnic

New Agreement at ABF

The TNFINC has reached a new agreement with ABF that will give drivers an opportunity to earn more money, on a voluntary basis, and cut down on the use of Purchase Transportation. Click to read the details of the agreement.

ABF COLA Increases Effective July 1

Teamsters at ABF will receive their first wage COLA since 2006, per Article 33, Section 4 in addition to the contractual wage increase effective July 1, 2022.

Between the contractual increase and the COLA, effective July 1, hourly wages will increase by $0.55 per hour and 1.375 cents per mile.

CSPF UPDATE: Application Submitted April 28

Central States Pension Fund submitted their application for Special Financial Assistance on April 28. The PBGC has 120 days to review the CSPF application. Click here for the full memo from Voices for Pension Security. 


The Teamsters National Freight Industry Negotiating Committee has reached a settlement with Holland resulting in over half a million dollars to be paid out nationwide to Holland Teamsters, including $26,299.47 to be paid to Charlotte drivers.
